When even Internet super-journalist Matt Drudge says what many in alternative media have been saying; that this nation has been arming the so-called terror group ISIS, people will listen
Overpasses for America, citing a WND article, reports Drudge made the “accusation” in the form of this tweet…
Corporate media outlets covered the cluelessness of President Obama’s U.S.-trained rebels earlier this month, but there was no proof he deliberately sent arms to terror networks determined to attack America.
“Moderate rebels who had been armed and trained by the United States either surrendered or defected to the extremists as the Jabhat al-Nusra group, affiliated with al-Qaida, swept through the towns and villages the moderates controlled in the northern province of Idlib, in what appeared to be a concerted push to vanquish the moderate Free Syrian Army, according to rebel commanders, activists and analysts,” the Washington Post reported Nov. 2.
Similar military fails have occurred in Iraq, where security forces in Ramadi retreated in May when confronted by ISIS.
The tweet by Drudge matches with charges that U.S. Cent-Com analysts were forced to supply intelligence reports on ISIS matching Obama’s rhetoric.
Gregory Hooker, a former senior intelligence officer at Centcom, accused senior commanders last month of doctoring terror risk assessments to look unrealistically optimistic, the New York Times reported Sept. 23. Hooker previously accused the Bush administration of doing the exact opposite in 2005.
Obama denied the charges once again last Sunday before flying back to Washington from a country with which many so-called birthers say he has ties to, which is true, but the corrupt media refuses to do anything about, Malaysia.
“I don’t want intelligence shaded by politics. I don’t want it shaded by the desire to tell a feel-good story. We can’t make good policy unless we’ve got good, accurate, hard-headed, clear-eyed intelligence,” Obama said as his nine-day trip to the Turkish Riviera and Southeast Asia ended.
Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the former chief of the Defense Intelligence Agency under Obama, told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly (c/o The Weekly Standard, a neocon magazine) on Monday Obama’s investigation into bad intelligence assessments should start at the top.
“The president sets the priorities and he’s the number one customer. So if he’s not getting the intelligence he needs and if he’s not paying attention to what else is going on, then something else is wrong there between them and the advisers he has,” Flynn said, the Weekly Standard reported.
And it seems as if the General is not alone in his concerns. And if anyone thinks this involves Democrats, think again
But now comes word that ISIS goes by another name besides ISIL.
Religion News reports the US-backed terror operation goes by the name Daesh.
Q: Al-Qaida is al-Qaida. Hamas is Hamas. But the Islamic State can be “ISIS,” “ISIL” and “Daesh.” Why so many names?
A: Put the group’s Arabic name into the translation machine, and you get different renderings in English.
The first part of the original name — Dawlah islamiyah fi al-Iraq wa Bilaad al-Shaam — is straightforward: “Islamic State in Iraq.” But you’ve got some room for disagreement on “Sham,” which can be “Syria” or “Greater Syria” or “the Levant.” Go with “Syria” and the acronym becomes ISIS. If you choose “Levant,” your acronym is ISIL.
You could also say the “Islamic State,” the name the group now prefers. But many call that wrongheaded or offensive or both. It is not a state. And there is nothing Islamic about it, said Imam Sayyid M. Syeed of the Islamic Society of North America. “It’s misusing the name of Islam in such an ugly way,” he said.
The lies that has been the so-called war on terror continue.
