Rand Paul…BIRTHER?

Well, it’s a SuperPAC of his.  And leave it to neocons like Michael Medved to blast Paul and those who give a damn about the Constitution.  And if you wonder if Medved, a former 60’s left-wing radical turned neocon talk radio host if he is on meds…THE ANSWER IS A RESOUNDING YES!  By the way the ad goes after Ted Cruz, BORN IN CANADA, AND A SUPPORTER OF TPP.

Big trouble in little Hartford

Connecticut’s Elections Enforcement Commission has issued subpoenas to the Democratic State Central Committee as it looks into the DSC using money from a federal fund to pay for a mailer benefiting Governor Dannel Malloy’s re-election.

NBC CT (WVIT-30) did an investigation in their Troubleshooters segment on today’s newscasts.  It asks for “any documents and communications dating back to Jan. 1, 2013 relating to how and/or why any of the DSCC’s federal bank accounts were segregated, all “electioneering or get-out-the-vote communications featuring the Governor.”

The subpoena asks for any papers related to meetings held by former Democratic Party Director Jonathan Harris with either Malloy, his campaign manager Jonathan Blair, chief-of-staff Mark Ojakian and former advisor Roy Occhiogrosso, as well as any polls conducted during last year’s election.

The investigation started after a complainst was made by CT State GOP Chairman Jerry Labriola in March 2014.

Labriola said Malloy and the Democrats “made a mess of campaign finance regulations and now they find themselves caught in a tangled web with the subpoenas issued today.  We will continue to monitor our complaint and we have trust in the process.”

Welcome to CORRUPTICUT!

I have a question to ask Faux News

As do a lot of his supporters.  When it comes to your graphics on polls such as Quinnipiac…WHERE IS RAND PAUL?  Is the neocon propaganda outlet partially run by Saudi Prince Bin Talaal IGNORING the Kentucky Republican sometimes libertarian senator all because of what he has said to their reporters?  Or is it because they hate Rand’s father Ron Paul, who I have not seen on Faux News in years.  Or maybe it’s because Ron and Rand seem to be somewhat on the same page when it comes to ISIS.

The Hamden, CT-based college released a poll today featuring the headline “Five Leaders In 2016 Republican White House Race, Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; Rubio, Paul Are Only Republicans Even Close To Clinton.” Yet in Fox News’ coverage, Paul apparently didn’t register enough to justify being shown on the broadcast of the poll.

What’s missing from this poll screen grab…or is that WHO?

Paul polled at 7 percent, ahead of (recent turncoat for his support of TPP fast-track) Sen. Ted Cruz who received 6 percent.
The people at the website Rare complained “Instead of mentioning Rand Paul’s competitiveness against Hillary Clinton (Paul and Rubio paired better against the former Secretary of State than any other Republicans), Fox left Paul’s name out to focus on lower-tier performers Donald Trump and (Ohio Governor) John Kasich.”

One can only ask if this is becoming a trend at the controlled opposition outlet…and a dangerous one at that?  Then again when you are a “news” outlet with neocons like Bill Kristol on your panel shows and warmongering oathbreakers like Col Ralph Peters, the trend is there.  And indeed it IS dangerous.

CT voters disapprove of Governor

Connecticut voters are apparently having buyer’s remorse six months after re-electing Dan Malloy as Governor according to a new poll.

FOX CT (WTIC-TV 61) reports a poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research shows over half of the voters asked give Malloy a thumbs down.

The survey found 52% of those asked found Malloy’s performance lacking.  Breaking it down by party affiliation, 87% of registered Republicans disapproved of his performance, as well as third of his democratic base and 51% of independent voters.

At the station’s page is an interactive pie chart where clicking on certain groups yields results.

For example, men disapprove of Malloy 57 to 36 percent with seven percent not sure.  In terms of the female vote, Malloy is about dead even at 48% approval; 45% disapproval and seven percent unsure.

The poll’s margin of error is plus or minus 4 percentage points.

She’s number 1!

The buzz surrounding Supergirl is getting as hot as the 4th of July.  And she has a couple of top spots to back up the boast.

Supergirl.TV reports Variety magazine saying star Melissa Benoist is one of the ten stars to watch for the upcoming fall season.  But not just any star, she hits the top of the charts (number one with a bullet you might say, but that comment would be deflected).

The show itself also lands at number one in shows generating the most interest according to Business Insider magazine.

In fact, here is the chart proving it

It outdoes another superhero show Legends of Tomorrow by about 30 percent and by three times over a new project coming from ABC and the legendary Muppets which would be a sort of Muppet Show 2.0.  The numbers were based on downloads and viral videos.  And clearly with over 13 million people seeing the Supergirl trailer and the folks at Entertainment Weekly having said it is on repeat, the chart above is no boast.

And one more important win comes from the TV critics.  In an assessment bound to make people shout like one of SG’s gal pals Mary Marvel HOLY MOLEY, the website Deadline.com is reporting Supergirl is among recipients of the Critics’ Choice Television Awards for most exciting new series. The Broadcast Television Journalists Association, America’s largest TV critics group named eight honorees for this category.  Supergirl and The Muppets get the mention along with six other shows on broadcast and cable TV.

Critics can be a tough crowd, but for 8 shows including two possible family favorites in the above to be honored, might start things going back toward cleaner entertainment.  And the problem over the leak by SG producers of the pilot/episode 1 may be looked at as a stroke of genius.  If producers didn’t have any confidence in the cast and crew and in this project they wouldn’t have sent the pilot or trailers to the critics…sign A-1 of a show or movie being a dud.

There is also the matter of the group to which this blogger supports…The Parents Television Council.  For the most part they have come down and hard on broadcast shows including critical favorites like Law and Order, CSI because of language sex and violence.  Supergirl, if CBS doesn’t put any Kryptonite in the scripts of the writers, could lead a charge where being a superhero can help the family and yet at the same time have awesome special effects and action to keep things going for all ages and groups.

We haven’t hit summer and Supergirl is getting hot (not just because she is a hot superheroine [hotter than Wonder Woman]), and we are still in spring.  And in spring romance is in the air and men like this writer are asking The Spinners 1972 hit musical question “Could it be I’m Falling in Love?”

Independence being snuffed out by a conspiracy

In this video from the John Birch Society, CEO Art Thompson discusses how many prominent people, not just JBS, have believed a huge conspiracy has played a leading role in destroying the independence and Constitution of the people of the United States as a way to build a one world government under the United Nations; and how so-called “conservatives” can take a stand against abortion and gun control, but at the same time vote for steps towards a one world government.  Ted Cruz anyone?

Meanwhile…

As I’m looking through breaking news headlines, and seeing the continuous references to the extreme weather so concentrated over TX, and coupled with the continuous chemtrailing that happens throughout the US, I can’t help but think that what is going on right now as part of the Jade Helm “exercize”, could not actually be the domestic roll out of weather warfare on an aggressive scale. We know they can control the weather to at least some degree. We know that the chemtrailing over CA and in the Pacific modifies the jet stream to both keep CA dry and to force that precipitation east towards TX and other southern states. We know that Jade Helm is “pretending” that TX is a hostile enemy that must be engaged. The military is already rolling out across the state as part of this “drill”. Why then, is it not reasonable to assume that as part of this “mock civil war drill” that they would not practice using the tools that they have in their arsenal? They used typhoons against the enemy in the Vietnam War, why would they not use this form of warfare against a domestic enemy as well?

I mean, how perfect is it that the military will be on hand to help “assist” the state with any effects of this “freak weather”? The citizens would stand down as the military rolls into major cities to assist in “humanitarian efforts” as opposed to protesting martial law drills in their peaceful state.

It’s just too coincidental that this Jade Helm thing is going on with TX the stated target, the biker shooting in Waco involved the Banditos gang which a year ago Holder’s (criminal) Justice Dept released a report about that gang and stated concern that they have many active and retired millitary, police and other federal government personnel as members (one of their “red list” targets that now they can portray as criminals), AND on top of all that TX is being completely hammered with extreme weather that seems suspiciously like what one would characterize as weather war.
