The latest political name goes down in corrupt flames.  Former Republican Governor John Rowland has been found guilty of all seven federal conspiracy charges causing false statements causing illegal campaign contribution and falsifying records.

Rowland was accused of conspiring to hide $35,000 in payments for work he did on the 2012 congressional campaign for Lisa Wilson-Foley.

Media reported Rowland’s defense team argued he volunteered on the campaign, but was paid for consulting work he did for the nursing home of Wilson-Foley’s husband, Brian Foley.

Rowland is set to be sentenced December 12th.
