HE’S IN

Posting on his Facebook page, Republican Joe Visconti has now been certified to enter the Governor’s race on the November ballot.

THANK YOU TO ALL MY SUPPORTERS, WE DID IT !!!!!!!

That was the post on the West Hartford reps Facebook.

The Hartford Courant’s Capitol Watch blog simply posted

Visconti started out as a Republican but petitioned his way onto the ballot by collecting 7,500 signatures.

So how does one celebrate this achievement?  Well you do it American-Italian style…WITH PIZZA! And apparently not just any pizza will do.

There is no word yest on disgruntled Democrat former state legislator Jonathan Pelto, who also petitioned has qualified.

Tuesday Visconti spoke to WNPR CT Public Radio.

One poster at WNPR’s website said..

“Mr. Visconti is the only candidate not taking taxpayers dollars to fund his campaign. His is the only candidate unequivocally against unconstitutional Common Core and unconstitutional SB1160. It’s time to elect a candidate who will place the People, the U.S. Constitution and the Connecticut Constitution ahead of Party. That person is Joe Visconti”

Another one took the state run corporate Mockingbird media to task.

“Naturally the media, particularly government media — aka NPR — portrays him in unvarnished matter of fact quotations. When Malloy speaks, they spin the lies into heaps of great wisdom instead of the steaming stuff rational people know it is. Connecticut needs a big dose of reality and Visconti seems the right man at the right time.”

Believe you me I worked for WNPR.  Looking back 20 years ago for my internship at UCONN Stamford between that or WICC in Bridgeport…I SHOULD’VE GONE TO BRIDGEPORT.  Then again their news department today has been sterilized by it being run by Cumulonimbus/ABC.

Memo to media…VISCONTI MUST BE ON YOUR “DEBATES”…OR ELSE!

And to those in the limp noodle neocon CT GOP who say he is a spoiler for Holy Moley Foley which means Malloy gets re-elected…ENJOY YOUR BIG GOVERNMENT FOOLS.  AND IF THAT HAPPENS, SEE YA IN NEW HAMPSHA!
